"I AM..."
(Book of Genesis)

Exodus 3:14 (NIV)
God said to Moses, "I am who I am .
This is what you are to say to the Israelites:
'I AM has sent me to you.' "

John 8:56-59 (NIV)
56. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.
57. Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty-years old, and you have seen Abraham?” 58. Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
59. Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

I AM is the name of God that was given to Moses in the burning bush about 1600 years
before Jesus’ lifetime. Jesus was claiming to be the One that spoke to Moses out of the burning
bush, calling Himself I AM.
By identifying Himself as I AM, Jesus was not only claiming to be the one that gave Moses the Law and directed him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but also
the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob...the One whom the Jews worshipped!!

We went through each book of the Bible and looked up all the "I AM's" and wrote some of the
verses in a simple statement.
We figured that God claimed I AM for Himself....
